I recently stumbled upon an online shop holding EVERYTHING a girl could possible want! Jeans, jewelry, hand bags, tops… Electric Ladyland has it.
Now, as you may or may not know I am a huge fan of shopping for things online. Personally, I usually don’t have the time to spend four hours at the mall or take a train into New York City to browse shops (although I’ll take that any day over the mall!) So for me you see, Electric Ladyland is like a gold mine! Let me show you a few of my favorite pieces and more of what this very cute boutique has to offer:
I absolutely fell in love with this piece from VOOM – (Silk Red Cherries Head Scarf). I love silk scarves and especially as headbands and head coverings. Very boho.

Next is this beautiful bracelet from Kenneth Jay Lane – (Turquoise And Coral On White Bracelet). It has a chic feel with a “folk” influence.
Finally is Stella & Jamie’ “White Puff Sleeve Trench Dress” which sports a very 50s feel. Personally, I love wearing dresses especially those with a 50s style woven in. They offer a sexy alternative with an extremely feminine and presentable look.
Electric Ladyland features many different and unique brands. These include Disney Couture, the famed True Religion jeans, and of course Juicy Couture. There’s lots to find, so go check them out!

Glitz, glam, pearls and high heels. Cut out toes, and furs… 2004 is the 40’s. It is great to finally see the tacky “show as much skin as possible” look go out the window. Even Abercrombie is marketing new looks, and longer skirts! (Thank you!)
Pearls and extravagant jewels, why not wear your money on your neck like the cosmopolitan ladies of the 40’s? Pull out your grandma’s old costume jewelry and broaches, they’re all too back in style! Glam up a simple corduroy jacket with 4 completely different broaches on the fold of your collar. ‘Cut out toe’ shoes with high heels are quite trendy, along with the ‘pointy-toe’ look. Classy shoes make any outfit look glamorous… almost.
Mary-Kate Olsen would like to call her style funky, I like to call it bag lady. Hey, it takes a lot of money to look like shit… oh, and Mary-Kate’s sister [Ashley] is dating a near 30 year-old that owns a “too chic for you” restaurant in NYC, entitled Butter. Yum.
