All Websites Going Down for Host Switch

If you’d like to know:
Tomorrow I will be switching over all of my websites to my reseller account at site5.com. Thank-you Becca for referring me to this lovely host, and I was sure to credit :plug: her lovely website on the order form :cutie:

The websites will probably be down tomorrow, and the day after. We just have to see how quickly the DNS for the domain names switches over.

It might be all done earlier if there’s no school tomorrow or a delay! :snowflake:

Snow is Coming!

Snowwww!:snowflake:Oh boy, oh boy. I feel like a little kid jumping around for the fact that there will be 12 to 18 inches of snow heading our way! Plus, it’s not even a school day tomorrow… The picture here is of a few days ago, while it was snowing out. Oh what a pretty sight!

Well, well, I was annoyed at the fact that the inauguration yesterday was during school. Somehow I remember watching the last one… maybe it was a snowday or something but I could have sworn it was a Sunday or something. All I have to say is Yay for FOUR MORE YEARS bitches! Hahaha… :flipa: I never doubted for a second that our wonderful president would be reelected, and the crazy lunatic Kerry was kept out of office by wonderful nationalism:unitedstates: on the conservative and republican sides. Wooohooo!

I’m really pushing for snow this weekend. The thought of going to another one of those silly debutante rehersals annoys me so. Without Christian there I feel like an idiot. He makes everything nice. :flirt:

In other news: My lovely Algebra II teacher (Mrs. Quinn) gave me an extension to work out my computer troubles ’till Monday. What a lovely lady.

Life is Unfair

I just typed finished up a six page math report with excel graphs and everything… then I lost a full two pages of it. It’s 11:30 :tired: and I can’t do anything about it really. Thankfully, the teacher is quite nice, and will most definitley give me an extension. Wooohoo, onto the two quizzes I have to study for that are tomorrow.

What did I do to deserve this?:indifferent:

Rotating Weather

You know the song, I’m dreaming of a white Christmas? – Well yes, Christmas is long over and gone, and the New Year has come and gone, but do you remember the line “I’m dreaming of a white Christmas, just like the ones we used to know.” Haha, I’ve come to thinking that it has started to snow later within the winter season. When ever it is cold out, it’s dry here, and when ever it is warm it rains! But finally, this week we’ve got an actual accumulation of snow in Northern New Jersey, and we’re supposed to be getting a foot of the white stuff this weekend!

Back on subject, has anyone else noticed that it’s snowing later and later within the winter season, (compared to winters last?) Maybe I’m just making stuff up in my head… but the weather seems kinda screwy. All the hurricanes and the tsunami within the past few years seem to mean all something! Hmm…

White Ninja Power!

White ninja! The White Ninja Comics should be a staple in everyone’s daily reading… even if you don’t do any of it at all. The comics are wonderfully random, and will make you giggle like a little girl. From his adventures with a severed head, to turtles trying to mooch cigs off of him , white ninja does it all!

Take a look at their witty intro:

What is ‘White Ninja Comics’?

White Ninja Comics are not for the weak of mind. They are a brilliant satirical commentary on controversial worldly issues.

They can be enjoyed on many levels. Scholars, Philosophers, and the like, who possess the intellect to analyze and break down the comics to their hidden, and often devious, roots, will enjoy White Ninja to its fullest degree. Others, like you and I, however, can still enjoy the comics for their light-hearted surface humour and funny drawings.

If ya’ll didn’t notice, I added the “about” page back again, right underneath my bio to the right. I guess it was rather diguised before ;) I might add a menu back with content again, but we’ll see what I feel like doing. Also, I added the archived snapshots back. :P fun!

Communism Good?!!

What do you have to say about this entry in a blog I located on the net today?

Communism
Filed under: General – Sam @ 12:44 pm
Just a short entry today. I really like the idea of communism, but people (well, Americans on tv anyway) seem to think communism as an evil thing, I tend to think this is just down to how the media portrays it, I think communism can’t work in todays world, but if it could, it would be bliss, just every equal and looking after eachother. It is a good idea, and sure some evil people were communist, but with every idealism there are evil people, Stalin in communism, for starters, and countless capitolists are evil, yet no one cares. Basically, is there anything I am missing as to why communism is a bad thing? I got a feeling that by using the hammer and sickle sign it is like using the scwastuca(nazi sign), is it as disrespectful? Ah, I dunno. This entry is stupid, don’t be surprised if it is deleted

A fellow commenter said:

I get annoyed when people think Communism is evil. Communism in theory is a good thing. Unfortunately, its gotten a bad reputation because of people who misused it. I don’t think most people will get the Communist sign, whereas most people who saw a Swastika (which was a Hindu sign before it was a Nazi sign, and actually means peaceful things) would freak out.

My comment?

When one government type CONSISTENTLY fails, how could you possibly call it good? China – look at all the people suffering there. Ukraine – 10 million people murdered. The ideology would never apply to humans correctly. There is no possible way EVER that communism will EVER work, it’s human nature. Class levels are natural, and can’t be erased. Additionally, in a communistic government, no one has anything to work towards too. If everyone is always going to earn the same amount of money, have the same things, why work harder than the person to the right of you? You’ll be paid the same… heck, why not work at all?!

Get what I mean? The idea was set to fail from the start and it consistently has.

You know what? I get annoyed when people think that communism ISN’T evil. Please… really… go try living in this type of government, and then tell me you don’t want to escape from it for the sake of your lives. Is that bliss?

Take A Chance

It’s late and I will be going to bed soon… most likely not, but I just came accross this enlightening statement made by someone who I don’t really know, surfing the vast interweb of: enlightenment.

“You can’t just live in a padded room eating celery your whole life just because there is a slight posibility of something going wrong.”

People didn’t change the world by sitting around all day worrying. People didn’t find out how much they loved something without trying it first and taking a risk. We didn’t get to the moon by worrying about it… we kicked it in the balls and said, “Bitch, we’re going to take this thing straight on!” And we kicked some Russian ass on the way…

Back on topic: I’ve learned I’m more of a risk taker, than someone who worries all the time. To those who worry constantly: I pitty you. To those who worry about me: I laugh.

Goodnight

New Favorite Song

It’s not my totally new favorite song, I just think it is awesomely catchy!

The Features’ ‘Blow it Out’ is a happy go lucky song… absolutley great for a person like me, haha. There’s that child’s song, that goes “If you’re happy and you know it…” haha, well this one goes “If you’re happy and you know it, turn the volume up and blow it out!” I love it! The background music sounds like someone is humming. Check it out!

I got this song for free on iTunes when I registered my mini. :-D 13 free songs! What fun haha. I looked up The Features on google and found out they were some Indie rockish group. I haven’t had a chance to download any of their other songs, but I am sure they are great too. Anyone ever hear of them?

Don’t take my word for it, go download it!
